Newcomer Families
At Escola LYS, we warmly welcome families who are joining our educational community for the first time. We understand that arriving at a new school can be a challenge, which is why we have created a specific welcome protocol for newcomer families. This protocol aims to facilitate the adaptation of both students and their families, offering all the necessary information and support to help them fully integrate into both our school and the surrounding community.
We work together to ensure that the transition is as smooth and comfortable as possible, promoting an environment of trust and closeness.

Dinning room with in-house kitchen
If the family wishes, they can have lunch at school. The menus are sent to the families for the entire month and are posted on the internal website portal.
Reception / Leisure Activities
- Reception: To facilitate entry to the school, there is a reception service every day from 8:00 to 8:45 AM.
- Leisure Activities: Up to a couple of hours after the school day ends.
Extracurricular Activities
At Escola Lys, we offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities to complement learning and foster the development of our students’ skills. Currently, we offer activities such as English, theater, volleyball, reading club, chess, robotics, and sports initiation. These activities are designed to promote creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and the acquisition of new skills in a fun and enriching environment.
Holiday Day-Camps
In the summer, at Christmas, and during Easter, the holiday camp service is offered, with a wide range of activities, and in the summer, with trips to parks and swimming pools. The monitors are the same ones who collaborate with the school’s leisure activities: they know the school and the children.
